I have changed the name of status to In Production from Packaged.
In the summary status it shows Packaged. In the product line status it shows the name In Production, in the list of choices of next Status it shows In Production and in the customers order summary it shows In Production.
Please can you resolve the top most level to show the name not the Status Type?

Please change the Name of the order status in Order context also from Packaged to In Production. You changed it in the Physical Product context only.

I have also updated the name for the status with context Product Packaged. This has made no difference.
I cannot change or create Status Types as I believe these are system defaults.
