Is there a way to turn off the Inventory Manager and remove it from the backend menu? We choose not to use the premium feature at this time and having it on the menu but not working confuses users.

Hello Gary,

Yes, you can hide this menu from code. To hide this menu, go to ../sellacious/menu.xml and comment the lines from 37 to 47.

Thank You

Hello Gary,

Yes, this can happen. There's another method to hide this menu.

To do this, go to Sellacious Backend > Settings > Global Configuration > Backend Display Options. Select 'Sellacious Backoffice Menu' in 'Main Menu'.

https://www.sellacious.com/community-support?controller=attachment&task=download&tmpl=component&id=661

To create these menus go to Sellacious Backend > Settings > Menu Manager. First Disable the 'Inventory Manager' form this view. If you want to create new menus, you can do that from here.

I hope this helps.

Thank You

The last method does not work. The item remains. The first suggestion does remove it, but subsequent updates are likely to override it.
Can anyone explain why when all options to remove the menu other than thru menu.xml do not work?

I think I got this to take. Clicking Display On Menu and then Save did not save the change. I had to do that several times before it took.

Hello Gary,

It looks like the cache issue. I have tried the same steps on 1.7.3 quickstart and Joomla install and it's working for me.

Make sure your meet these requirements to run sellacious smoothly.

I hope this helps.

Thank You

Hey Jean,

Kindly log out and log in again. You should be able to see the Sellacious Backend menus. If you are still not able to see these menus, let me know.

Thank you
