Regarding v1.5.3 and v1.6.0 Alpha, there is a huge problem:
License check verification on each page uploaded --> slow down the website
"readonly", "isSubscribed", footer css, custom-style.css, ...
This is the reason why, I didn't buy Sellacious.
I think you need to change your system check license verification for an another solution.

My suggestion:
No free version and only a paid version between 79$ and 89$ for a year
Sellacious is very very very interesting and well done. To me Sellacious is better and more simple than Hikashop or Virtuemart.
