My customers are getting multiple order change emails sent to them. When I mark the order as "Shipped" system sends not 1, but multiple the same emails to my customers.

Still not resolved.

Can someone take a look at this ? The order change status sends out duplicate emails to customers. I make a single order status update, and the customer will receive 2 identical emails about the change.

A month has past and no one looked into this problem ? Is there any support left for paid customers ?

Hello Tim,

Sorry, we somehow missed replying you but we definitely worked on this issue. When we tried it in our systems several times there was no duplicate emails still we have implemented 2-3 fallbacks in case system generating multiple emails for the same event.

I doubt it may be related with your email server as well. Can we have server access in our PM so that we can take a deep look? send us following:

1) Server access (cpanel)
2) Super admin access of joomla & sellacious of your website.

Hello Tim,

I just verified the communication log of your website. You can also find it at https://www.mrezone.com/sellacious/index.php?option=com_sellacious&;view=mailqueue

analyzing it I found out that 2 emails are hitting one 2 different contexts on order payment that is

order_payment_failure.admin
order_payment_failure.self

and both landing to your email, that means from the account you are trying to order something is also admin account so two emails are being sent one to you as a buyer informing that your order payment failed and another to you as admin that an order payment failed on your website.

You can anytime configure which one to keep and which communication to shut down from your backend email template view.

Abhishek, it is not the failure. When I change the order status to Packaged, Shipped or Delivered, 2 identical emails are being send to the buyer.

Hey Tim, I am testing it with my dummy order. Just to understand have you upgraded this to latest sellacious yet or not? because it looks like its still v151

If not, don't upgrade your live site directly upgrade it staging first.

Abhishek, no I have not upgraded to the latest version yet. Last time I did the upgrade, it caused problems for me, so I am afraid to do it myself again.
