Is there a way that once a user is registered, they are able to change their account to a seller account themselves? I notice I can do this in the backend however I cant work out how to achieve it on the front.

Hello Jeff,
Yes, the registered user can change their account to the seller themselves.
The registered user can also register as a seller from frontend which will assign him to the category of the seller along with client category.

Ive tried to register as a seller (from the form) as a logged in registered user however it shows the message:
"Save failed with the following error: Failed to save user registration information. Please enter a username."
Please advise what I am doing wrong.
