I didn't understand how the statuses permissions work. I have seen "Allowed User Groups" but I couldn't get what I want:

My marketplace works like Amazon: the marketplace administrator collects payments and then pays the seller, therefore only the administrator can change the status of an order from "Payment Pending Approval" to "Payment Appoved".

How can I get this?

Thank you

Sorry, but you didn't answer my question. I need that only administrator can change some status of orders (example: from "Payment Pending Approval" to "Payment Approved" )

In "Setting > Statuses" I see that for each status you can edit the field "Allowed User Groups" but I didn't understand what is the function of this in relation to my need.
Is this possible set that the Seller group is not allowed to change the status from "Payment Pending Approval" to "Payment Approved" (whereas the administrator must be able to change)?

I add that I tried to set "Allowed User Groups = Administrator" for the status Payment Approved (Physical product order), but the Seller still allowed to set the status "Payment Approved" for the product in the order.

Hello Paolo,

You can change these permissions from Sellacious Backend > Settings > Permissions. Select Seller in the dropdown. In the product order view, deny the permission for Edit Own Order.

Now, go to Seller's profile. They will be able to view their orders but won't be able to update order status.

I hope this helps.

Thank You

I'm sorry, but we haven't understood yet.
I need the seller to be able to change only some order states, and others to change them only by the administrator.

In my marketplace, the administrator manages the collection of money for sellers (as in Amazon) and therefore this change of state must be able to manage only by administrator (not the seller):

Payment Pending Approval >>> Payment Approved

After that, the seller must be able to change the status:

Payment Approved >>> Shipped

How can I set-up my Sellacious to do this?

Thank you

It seems to be a bug because by setting the status of the order for administrators only these are ignored and the seller can also edit that status:
Hey, thanks for reporting. Someone from our team will contact you regarding this tomorrow, and hopefully send you a patch.
Update: We are still working on it. Will update you soon.
