I need to allow my customers to order items not in stock

...is this obvious and I missed something - I have a huge stock offering and its simply impossible for me to carry all the stock so I need my customers to be able to order an item, pay and then wait for the items despatch...

Hello Phil,

You can disable the stock management from the product. This will assign infinite stock to your product.

You can also handle the stock from the global configuration. That means, you only have to put the stock one time and all the products will have that stock.

Sorry but it still states Out Of Stock and disables the Add to cart or buy now buttons
I changed the individual items to disable the stock control
I changed the two settings above,
not working
